#FounderFellowship | Demo Day

On May 22nd BCAN held its first ever Founder Fellowship Demo Day.

Our cohort consisting of: The Regal Group, Marta Ali Studios, Le MONADE, Style Trail, Pretty Much Academy, Mess in a Bottle, Six Point Pictures, Rise of Charm City and Power Nail Decals gathered at MICA’s Falvey Hall along with family, friends, and community members to celebrate their ingenuity and the strides they have made in their creative endeavors.

After days of rain, the sun came out as the evening got underway. The room was full of laughter and excitement as guests dined and sipped on refreshments provided by Ida B’s Table, snapped photos at the Pixilated photo booth in front of a collection of specially commissioned posters from The Globe Collection at MICA, all while DJ pierre bennu provided an excellent soundtrack that kept everyone two-stepping all night.

After a bit of mingling, sipping, and shopping guests where invited into the auditorium to for presentations from our Fellows and a panel with our guest mentors Lana Boone of Kurly Klips, Jason Bass of Treason Toting Co, and Darlene Gillard of digitalundivided.
