Baltimore Artist Emergency Relief Fund
What’s the Baltimore Artist Emergency Relief Fund?
The Baltimore Artist Emergency Relief Fund is a coalition-led initiative designed to provide direct assistance to Baltimore-based artists and creative entrepreneurs who have lost income due to the COVID-19 crisis.
We understand.
Making it as a creative has never been easy and many of us depend on freelance work to make ends meet. We understand that the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on our creative community has been devastating.
We’re in this together.
You’re not alone. Thanks to a coalition of passionate partners old and new, and inspired by the generosity of artist-led relief efforts in Baltimore and across the country, we have pooled together our resources to offer emergency grants of $500. We encourage Baltimore City creatives who are experiencing financial strife as a result of the COVID-19 crisis to apply.

We Love Baltimore’s Artist Community
Baltimore’s artistic community keeps our city vibrant and creative with art and performances that can inspire, uplift and spark community change. Like many others at this time, our artistic community is experiencing a devastating economic impact due to the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) crisis.
Stay Safe and Healthy

Together, we’ll thrive.
We will navigate this challenging time together. Look out for BCAN’s upcoming virtual programming for opportunities to learn about resources, collaborate with other artists, share self-care tips, and to offer support to fellow creatives.
